hello! i dont have any doodles this week unfortunately. i worked on something for a friend and slowly carved my way through a large commission lol. and also the page im working on right now is a beast. hopefully i'll be able to do more fun stuff in the future ;_; im just trying to get on top of the work i have that people are waiting on. be patient with me!

recommendations? well. not much there either because i've been actually going outside lately for walks lol. but:

• i've been re-reading "hyouge mono" lately, a manga about the advent and codification of the tea ceremony in sengoku japan. this sounds really boring but it's actually a very funny, character-driven drama. i think it is very successful in what it sets out to do: follow the arc of one man as he slowly learns to develop his own sense of aesthetics during turbulent times. the art whips ass too.
• i also watched this book review about a book that the reviewer really enjoyed and one they really truly absolutely hated.
• bad movie bible reviews even more "brucesploitation" films. i love this guy. i think he really has a knack for concisely communicating what is appealing or fun about specific movies. 
• this guy explores a gmod mall map
• i am re-reading my friend's webcomic "doomsday, my dear" for them and enjoying it yet again. it is genuinely very cool to see someone's work evolve over time. a pleasure rarely afforded to artists in such an accessible format.
