here's something i drew on tumblr a while back just to get it out of my head. magic systems in fiction are tricky. too little and the audience has no bearing for what they're looking at. too much and you risk bogging yourself down in stupid rules. however: if mass is created, a universe needs to have an explanation for that, right?
